How does this event support OIA's mission? The mission of the Office of International Affairs (OIA) is to promote, facilitate and expand global learning, research, and engagement opportunities for all members of the campus community in the service of the university’s larger commitment to teaching, research and public service. OIA accomplishes this mission by providing students with education abroad experiences; supporting international students, researchers, faculty and staff with visa and related services; developing international connections to advance exchange and teaching and research collaboration; informing campus departments on regulatory matters; and organizing a variety of international programs, initiatives and events, including those that encourage belonging and community building.
