Exploring Your Identity Abroad:
DACA Pre-Departure Preparedness Workshop
This pre-departure workshop is designed to support DACA students studying abroad. We will provide law and policy updates for DACA and Advance Parole as well as legal resources and information for students who will be re-entering the United States after traveling abroad, address potential stressors that may arise while traveling outside the U.S, and briefly touch upon financial aid as it pertains to DACA students. In addition to our strategies and resources, we will have a UC student returnee panel who will share their own adjustment challenges and how they managed to successfully study abroad and make lasting memories.
